Individual Advocacy

EDAC's Individual Advocacy is to assist individuals with a disability to achieve and maintain their rights, equity of access and participation in the community.

Information and Referral

EDAC provide information on government agencies, disability support services, community advocacy groups and other services that assist people with disabilities.

EDAC can also assist in referrals to other services.


We facilitate a  range of support services and networking opportunities throughout the year.

Activities include:

  • Carer support groups
  • attending social, art, recreational activities and workshops
  • participating in reference group meetings and discussion forums


EDAC can help by organizing an interpreter for any of the above services, at no cost.


No individuals will be discriminated against on the basis of individual needs, race, culture, gender, age, religion, disability and living arrangements.All EDAC clients are treated with respect and dignity.
